Have you ever heard Fredrik Thordendal's solo project (he's the lead guitarist)? If you haven't you should definately look it up. It's called "Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects - Sol Niger Within"


Great experimental Meshuggah-like music with insane Thordendal type soloing all bent on scientific/extraterrestrial themes.
